McKinney Global Methodist has many different groups for all ages. Please see below for the various groups we have to offer your family. Email mckinneyglobalmethodist@gmail.com for more information on any of these groups.

Small Group Ministry

Our small groups meet in homes throughout the McKinney/Allen area. These groups provide opportunities for growth in relationship to God and to others. The greatest commandments given by Jesus are to love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself. Small groups are places of encouragement, accountability, Christian growth, and service. New groups are forming in 2024 and there is a place for you!

Kingdom Kids

Kingdom Kids (K-5th) is our young children's group at our church. It is a vibrant and nurturing community where kids experience the joy of learning, friendship, and spiritual growth. Through engaging activities, interactive lessons, and fun-filled gatherings, our dedicated team of volunteers fosters an environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and values rooted in faith. We aim to provide a safe and supportive space where children can explore their beliefs, ask questions, and develop a deeper understanding of God's love. Our programs incorporate both educational and entertaining elements, tailored to meet the diverse needs and interests of each child. As we guide them through stories, songs, and age-appropriate discussions, we strive to instill essential principles of kindness, compassion, and empathy. Together, we celebrate their unique talents and journey alongside them as they grow in their spiritual development within our church family. A nursery is provided for infants and toddlers during the service. Children meet at 9:00 AM prior to the service.

Youth Group

Our Youth Group (6th - 12th grades) provides a space for Bible study, worship, discussions on relevant topics, and opportunities for service and outreach. We focus on our youth being Christ-centered, Biblically-based, and Spirit-led. Being part of Youth Group strengthens their faith, build strong moral values, and develop a sense of community. The friendships formed within our group often extends beyond the meetings, offering a network of support and encouragement throughout various aspects of life. Youth meet at 9:00 AM prior to the Sunday service.

Children and Youth Camps: Our children attend summer camp and our youth attend winter mission and summer camp through ReviveTexas. ReviveTexas is a Christ-centered ministry in the historic Wesleyan theological tradition with a mission that includes offering summer camps for children and youth to encounter Jesus and to become disciples of Jesus Christ for the glory of God. For more information, including how to sign up children and youth for the summer camps, see revivetexas.org.

Daughters of the King (Women's Ministry)

We would love for you to join our Daughters of The King women's group. We have a variety of events throughout the year. Daughters of The King is a group of women who have an enriching experience, fostering spiritual growth, community connection, and personal support. It offers a space where women can come together to deepen their faith, share experiences, and encourage one another on their spiritual journeys. Participating in Daughters of The King provides an opportunity for spiritual nourishment, mutual encouragement, and a deeper connection with both God and fellow believers.

Single Sisters in Service (SSIS)

This is an active group of single women (and some married women who join in!) who lunch together often after church, meet as a small group ministry, and serve God in many ways. The easiest way to join this community is to email Pastor Doug at pastordougmckgmc@gmail.com and he will forward your email to the group. They will be quick to invite you to their next restaurant adventure after church!

Band of Brothers (Men's Ministry)

Band of Brothers is our Men's group that can be a transformative experience for men seeking spiritual growth, fellowship, and accountability within a supportive community. We typically gather monthly at a local restaurant for teaching, testimony, and fellowship. Band of Brothers provides a space where men can engage in discussions about faith, study scripture together, and address relevant issues from a Christian perspective. Being part of Band of Brothers offers a supportive network, helping men navigate their faith journey, strengthen their relationship with God, and develop a sense of camaraderie that extends beyond the meetings, impacting various facets of their lives.
