New Paragraph

“Partners” Rather Than “Members”

“I thank my God in all my remembrance of you … because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. And I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.   (Philippians 1:3-6)

Why “Partners”?

Partners are people invested in a relationship. At McKinney Global Methodist, joining the church means being in a relationship with Jesus Christ first and foremost, being in a relationship with others in the worshiping community, and being a partner in the Gospel of Jesus Christ into our homes, neighborhoods, and the world (Acts 1:8).

How to become a Partner

Periodically, McKinney Global Methodist will have opportunities to join the church as a partner. If interested, please email Pastor Doug Fox at pastordougmckgmc@gmail.com to learn more about being a partner with us in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our first opportunity will be on Sunday, May 7, 10AM. at Vega Elementary School (2511 Cattleman Dr, McKinney, TX 75071.

Baptism

Being baptized in a Christian community is a requirement for becoming a partner. We recognize God’s work in your Christian baptism whether as an infant, through a confirmation class, or as an adult.  If you have not been baptized, Pastor Doug would be honored to speak with you about the importance and meaning of baptism.
